When movies take you on a journey with SNCF

,

To celebrate the 120th anniversary of cinema, Gaumont has teamed up with SNCF Transilien, with the support of STIF, to get the 7th art form on the move!
After a unique exhibition at the CENTQUATRE-Paris, the Daisy-blazoned brand will board the D line train that runs through the heart of the Parisian rail network. Gaumont, the only film company that has existed since cinema began, is still pushing the limits to integrate this art form into the daily lives of viewers and giving it pride of place.

The program includes films by Louis Feuillade, Jean Vigo, Federico Fellini, Ingmar Bergman, Andrzej Wajda, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Maurice Pialat, Jean-Luc Godard, Luc Besson, Mathieu Kassovitz, Francis Veer, Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache... Through this partnership, Gaumont is challenging the limits imposed by movie theaters. The 7th art is now coming to the daily commute of travelers. Over the course of their journey, viewers will be able to relive the emotions of many cult movies.

For the SNCF and STIF, this partnership once again demonstrates the desire to offer a cultural and entertaining interlude to passengers. You may remember the “Versailles train” in 2012, in partnership with the Château de Versailles, as well as the “Impressionist train” a year later, in partnership with the Musée d’Orsay.

Take a seat on board from January 28, 2016 for the next two years, between Creil and Melun, passing through the Stade de France, Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon or Châtelet-les-Halles.
