Here is a list of the awards won:
– Best Film: Bye Bye Morons
– Best Director: Albert Dupontel, Bye Bye Morons
– Best Actor in a Supporting Role: Nicolas Marié, Bye Bye Morons
– Most Promising Actor: Jean-Pascal Zadi, Simply Black

– Best Original Screenplay: Bye Bye Morons
– Best Production Design: Bye Bye Morons
– Best Cinematography: Bye Bye Morons
– César des lycéens: Bye Bye Morons

Released on October 21 2020, Bye Bye Morons by Albert Dupontel was watched by 700,000 viewers before theaters had to shut their doors once more. The film’s secret formula, blending humor and emotion to subtle effect, bowled the jury over! Just like Jean-Pascal Zadi’s hilarious Simply Black, released on July 8 2020.

Just before the ceremony, Virginie Efira answered some questions from Laurie Cholewa about her incredible performance in Bye Bye Morons and to tell us a little more about the shoot and Albert Dupontel’s love for cinema.

Check out this interview by Laurent Weill just a few days before the ceremony that saw Jean-Pascal Zadi crowned:

Congratulations to the winners. We’re so happy for you, for cinema as a whole, and it was a pleasure to work with you on such amazing projects! BRAVO!
